What no Headlights.....

Evening all,

I recently got back from a very long business asignment, having missed all but the last rays of summer.

So I got my Turbo II out (started first time after five months!), gave it the usual checks, and drove it to the local petrol sation to fill up.

When I stoped, I had left my lights on after I had turned the engine off, I got teh usual anoying scwark and switched them off.

I then filled up, payed up (lots), and drove off.

It was when I got away from the street lamps that I realised that my headlamps were not working.  They had poped up, and all teh instrumentation was lit up, and so were teh rear lamps, but no headlights.  

The dash shows that the full beam is permanently on (does not respond to using the flasher).

Has anyone come accross this before?  I have checked all teh Fuses, but no joy.  The MOT is due next week so I need to get it fixed pretty pronto!

Please give me teh benefit of any experiance you may have!
