2.5" - 3" Bore exhaust?

Hi All.

What advantages is there in upsizing my Stock Jap spec Down pipe, 2.5" Mid pipe for 3" Down/Mid pipes?

I am going to be Keeping my Stock twins for some time yet but i\'m thinking the smaller bore size may help with Creep/Spike? But saying this i\'m running an Apexi N1 so i may as well just go 3" and get it well set up?
