I got Pip to fit a water temp sens when the car was in for a major service.

Not been driving it that much and only just got round to going under the bonnet to check fluids.

Thing is I can\'t work out where it is, anyone any pointers from standing in front of the bonnet? He said it\'d only work when the thermostat was open if that gives any clue?

Also found a pipe (35mm diameter) had come off by one of the air filters, would this have affected anything?

Cheers :)

Paul.

I drilled a small hole next to where the Bonnet release cable passed through the bulkhead. Used a 90 deg drill adapter to get into the space. Alternatively if you take the wheel arch liner out there is a huge gromit that passes most of the wire loom into the car., with a small cable you may be able to push a coat hanger through to track the wire into the car.

Hope this helps
