delimiting? As simple as cutting the Green/red Cable?

Hi,

My FD is still running in KPH and has therefore not been delimited.

Can someone verify if it is as simple as cutting the green and red cable in my standard ECU and if so do you recommend it.

I know that if I want my clocks changed to MPH, I need to get one of those chips but I don\'t like the idea messing with the odometer.

Apparently WGT (whose banner is at the top of this site) sell a tiny chip which wires to the ECU and changes the clocks to MPH without the need of pulling out the dash. Can anyone recommend this?

at work we use m8 speed converters that de limit the car and also allow the speedo to read in mph . import solutions also do a good converter/delimiter.

I wouldn\'t leave any cables uncut. Although you do stop the ecu seeing the higher speeds in therory the speedo seems to read miles out at higher speeds.

I\'d give pip a ring at wgt and ask, if it does then it is much easier than pulling the dash out.

Another one is: being the odomiter is a didgital readout, why don\'t you try to find some one who can clock it for you??? Basicaly wind it back to the eqivelent miles.... and get the speedo converter installed.
