Bath to Cornwall on the M5 and A30, cruise control @ 70 the whole way, no bad traffic or stopping, 198 miles on £30-worth of Super Unleaded â€" I make that 29-30 mpg!!

Don\'t think I\'ve ever shown so much restraint... but end of the month finances dictated a light right foot!

Martiny

I think Robbie from Scotland managed 30 something.

Thud

30mpg!!  Were you being towed by the AA at the time??

Is yours a NA or Turbo?

retrobate

lol no, and it wasn\'t the RAC either!

It\'s a TII, sat just below 3k rpm and off boost the whole way! Thought I\'d maybe creep it up to 25/26 or so, but didn\'t expect 30 odd.

Brett

Well done, think the best i ever managed was around 22mpg, but then I always had an irresistable urge to play with other cars on the motorway! :D

Freddy

I\'ve had 24mpg to a near 500hp single turbo fd. That included the odd outburst, where I felt the need to open up the wastegate. :Thumbsup!

jeted

I got 250 miles for £20 of gas engine ran sweet car rotted around it

lpg is grate

I can never get more than 120 miles with less than £30-35 of fuel.  That\'s 60% of motorway cruise at 80 mph, 40% of occasional country lane fun.   :Thumbs-up

It\'s Brett\'s old Graphite TII, although I haven\'t taken any aditional pictures since I took it off his hands! I think I\'ve seen you cruising through the Bath traffic (if that\'s possible!) a couple of times when I\'ve walked by!
