How much should i be looking to spend on a 95+ Type rz, as near to stock engine as possible (suspension and wheels improved preferably) under 30,000 miles and with a \'99 bodykit fitted. I saw one on Linney,

but it had already been sold. That car would have been perfect! Under 13 grand?

The Type rz is the most expensive model of rx7 sold in Japan
comes with bilstein shock and hard springs, strengthened torsen limited slip diff and 17 inch bbs alloys as standard and really does handle fantastic as is. To find a pre 99 3rd gen in Japan that has a 99 spec kit on is very rare full stop. Trying to narrow that down to an rz model going to be even rarer. The one on linney has the 99 spec front end but has the mazadspeed type II rear spoiler which is very similar to the 99 spec rear spoiler.
A 95 type rz with less than 30,000 miles you could expect to pay
probably 12k +

That silver one on linney\'s ISNT an RZ though, is it? Says Type R, BIG difference - Type R\'s are ten a penny.

If you\'re paying an RZ premium - make sure it IS an RZ!

Bri - think u missed out the most important bit of an RZ in my personal opinion - Kevlar backed Recaros!! About £1000+ EACH from Demon Twits!! Damn those things are SWEET!!!

Hi Rich,

I was just homing in on his point about upgrading wheels and suspension, I was emphasing how good they already handle as
is. The seats in the later style rz like a 2001 model is even better.

Oh type-r then! I dont believe i\'m gonna feel like i\'m missing out if i got a type-r going from an mx5! What about this black one http://www.linney.org/1994black-cwest-rx7.htm
Right price you reckon? Looks like a good one and fast too cos it appears to be jumping into hyperspace in the first piccy, lol!. New job soon so thats the car\'s the first thing i\'ll be changing.
I\'ve been thinking peeps (ow!).What with all of this talk about the mx5 being the greatest handling car in the world and stuff (Autocar), and considering mines got lowered suspension and 205/40/17 rubber, is an RX7 going to be as balanced and adjustable in the twisties? Its a bit heavier as well (300kgs). Or is it a whole new ball game, even on very tight corners?

I don\'t know Ben personally but I am sure he sells good cars. He\'s also on this forum so any questions regarding the car your best directing to him atleast then you can get the lowdown from the horses mouth. Right price ? I think whatever an Importer prices his car at is what he thinks it\'s worth what anyone else thinks it\'s worth is irrelevant if you like a car and can afford it then the price is right, unless you were to see another you like for less with same quality etc.:)

Hi Guys,

The silver FD was a very nice example, but i ending up in a bidding war with quite a few people, she ending up selling for a pretty shocking price, which would have got me a much newer FD. But i would prefer paying a high price for a good FD. She was one of the best i have driven, hard knight sports suspension - slightly unsuitable for the country lanes that i live in.

Sorry i beat u to it Bri m8, but then i really wanted your two black RE Amedia\'s :D

do you have any pics of the one with head lamp convertion, roll cage, knightsports wing etc...

Hi Trappy, afraid the black cwest has now gone

bnaellis

not many decent ones mate :(
All of these are with the front end off just before it went to it\'s owner who lives in Belfast. Car sat literally on the ground so had to take the front end off to get it on the transporter that took it to Belfast.
Just tried to post but images are too big. I need the help of Mr Fish again. Heeeellp Dan???
