Quote from: Jin KazamaNot necessarily. Take into consideration the cost of the piant itself can vary greatly from as little as £150 to £800+ per litre of paint.
Correct,.

If your prepaird to travel I could put you in touch with a spry man who has started to use dry powder flips from the states, and he is a wizz with a spray gun!!!

He quoted me £650 - £700 to respray my FD - Black base with the dry powder flip over the top, but I would have to prep the car myself!!!!

He\'s in Freystrop, Pembrokeshire. if you want his number let me know and I\'ll put you in touch.

Is black a good base coat to spray flip onto? Cos my new 7 is black...

Dont mean to sound daft, not clued up on all this paint jargon

If so id have to scotch pad the car then its ready to spray with the flip paint? Sounds abit too easy!!! So id need the Flip obviously thats 3L £550 + Hardener £? + Laquer £?

I suppose if the recommendation is good enough then travel shouldnt be a problem.  So what are Dry Powder Flips?

That quote, was that including the Black Base?  And how much do you reckon it would cost if he did the prep work?

Thanks
Mark

although possibly obsolete now due to all the flip ideas and stuff...

I think the fade looks miles better but having sprayed a few cars with fades myself, they are a barsteward to get right so you really, really need a good sprayer for that.

Oh, and personally I\'d either go for a darker blue overall or continue the fade into something like midnight blue. But hey, that\'s just my taste...

Thanks Dan for your efforts - thats really appreciated.  Does give me an idea of what it could look like.  I think I definitely prefer the fade but perhaps with a darker blue.  The other one could look better - perhaps with the slant the other way and slightly towards the front.

Thanks again, definitely owe you a  :cheers      :guinness

Im not sure what they are.  They have Independance something or other written on them.  To be honest the picture doenst do them justice, they look a lot better in the flesh - they have a nice dish effect, especially on the back.  I was thinking about having them re-done with a polished lip and either black or anthracite spokes.  Mind you now your making me think.....  :)

They look like an old sparco design.
But you can never be sure. only about 1 million different rim types in japan.
Paint them black for a start.

I really like the Re-amemiya N1 Body kit of that generation and I think it looks best in white. Just my opinion.

If you see any car that you hate
Then see it in black it looks ok. Because you cant see the lines of the car.
This is where bright or clean colours and good design come together.

I recon it looks awesome now..
