Has anyone got any info on how to reduce turbo cut.

I have just had the motor rebuilt and got the second turbo boosting again.  The Car has a apexi induction kit and a complete HKS exhaust system.  There is enough power to slip a brand new std clutch.  It\'s just at the top rpm range the spark cut\'s i have been told it\'s due to the turbo\'s spooling so quick due to the massive exhaust and the std ecu cannot deal with it.

Do any of you have any ideas?  Will a apexi power fc deal with it?

What clutch could i upgrade to without spanking me too much?

Thanks

Yes it will deal with it.

I would not push your car too hard if it does this regularly, unless you love parting with a couple of grand for a rebuild :(

Sounds like Fuel Cut?

The Apexi should deal with it better, but it won\'t stop things like boost spike etc.  as it is if you don\'t have an aftermarket ECU your engine will have to come out again soon :(

Best to get yourself an aftermarket ECU ASAP,  and ensure it isn\'t boost spiking/creeping - you can really only stop this from happening if you put a more restrictive exhaust on.

Thanks for the info.

I have ordered my PFC, will i need to get bigger injectors or will the PFC allow the car to run without fuel cut.

Also the HKS it complete from front to back, i have only done about 1000 miles with it.  If the turbos are spiking after the ECU upgrade which part of the exhaust should i replace back to std.  Or is there another way around fixing the turbo spike.

I love the car\'s but SHI* ME not i have spent 7.5 on the car and another 3-4K on it in 9months.  The cash is running out and i just want her to run right.

I spose when i get my next on i will no what to look 4.

Cheers

You can run the Apexi ECU with the standard injectors, but your injector duty will be fairly high. It injects a lot more fuel than the standard ECU.

Many people run this ECU with the stock injectors fine, but if you want to go further performance wise then you will need to change them to big jobbies, along with other things, but one step at a time eh?
