Hello

I was wondering if someone can help me figure out what I have bought, I knew I was geting some bilstein shock from Jamie on the gorup but he was unsure what springs the shocks had on not knowing if they were standard or not.

When I inspected the springs it says RS*R on them (the last R is in red).

My question is are these standard shocks and springs from an RSR RX7.

I did a quick search on the web for RS*R and I found a company that sell RS*R springs which drop the ride by about 0.4 inch.

Can someone tell me what shocks and spring came on the RSR version of the 7 so I can make my mind up as I want the car lowered slightly and would buy new springs if these are standard ride height.

Thanks in advance.

I think RS*R is a manufacturers badge.

i.e. not off an RSR version.

My understanding is the the RSR came with Bilstein shocks but standard springs, the RS*R springs aould most likely be after market items

RS*R is a Jap manufacturer: http://www.rs-r.co.jp/main.php

The FD3S limited editions to my knowledge all had bilstein shocks and springs so I would assume the RS*R\'s are lowered...

Thanks for the replies I thought as much but just wanted to check before I bung them on and have to take them of again to put new springs on.

Now has anyone had any experience of these SPrings, they only seem to drop the ride by 0.4 of an inch acording to the site which doesn\'t seem worth it, I am runniing 17 and wanted that low agressive look, can anyone recomend a set of springs that will give me the a drop of about 1 inch?

Cheers
