if you upgrade the fuel pump what do you have to do about mapping ?

Nothing, you are only adding reliablity to it, injector will only use X regardless of what your pump pushes through.
Imagine a hose pipe, put you finger over it, no matter how hard  you turn the tap on only an max amount came come out. Now take your finger off (ie bigger injectors) and more fuel comes out, now we need mapping.

I should hope it would be or more bit.... LOL

I think you proberly mean Gallons an Hour. An Fd fuel pump should be over 200LPH, I know the welbro is 255 and thats suposed to be an Upgrade but quite often does\'nt perform that well.

I\'m running FD fuelpump on my FC for a year or so, with no probs, but probably will need an update de to going few modifications in sommer.  I\'ve read FD pump will manage 360 -400 hp on flywheel but not more!

350 hp is my target for my FC at the moment, but to be on the safe side, will upgrade the FD pump to a Bosch 044 unit.

They are few Walbro pumps on ebay. Them all will fit wothout any problems and provide good fuel supply as I\'m running one on my FD at the moment.
