If you\'re looking for something square the new RE-Amemiya definitely fits the bill.  Even though the rear is square it manages to look good with the rear lights.  It\'s probably the first square rear bumper that looks part of the car and not just like it\'s been riveted on.

Does anyone have any under body shots of the RE A car?

Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaawn...

I personally feel all the squared off kits take far too much away from the original FD shape...the FEED arches are nice in that they accentuate the FD\'s factory good looks rather than try to replace them...

Having seen this car many times, I must say I like the engine bay the most.

I agree with the other guys that the square lines dont like the FD. Unless its black or a colour that doesnt show the lines of a car. A black car can have any kit and look good. IMO

You will note that they also have the Squareish Cwest kit on the front. that kind of suits the square look.

I put this front on my RE-AD GT kit and it didnt work so well.

Either go full round or Full sqare I recon.

I am swinging to a feed fave now. but depends on personal taste.
But when your in Japan. you have soo much choice its hard to decide.
Been there. You get swamped.

These following images are chops I am thinking of for my next car.
Definately G9 front. Nothing will change that.
I am just deciding whether the standard body with feed skirts
OR
the full RE-AD-GT kit again with Bee-r rims.
Hard not to have widebody

Probably depend of the spec of the car i buy.

Jake, that kit is nice. Especially having seen it in flesh. But I REALLY dont like those front fender\'s. They are very square. The rear being square is good then progressively curving toward the front fender\'s and square\'ish front is what I\'m after. Of course, not many kit\'s offer this.

The FEED, RE-a AD GT, Panspeed kits are good in the sense that they flare out the arches and keep to the lines of the FD - I like that, but would want the rear end to show out more. I think they are a mid way compromise between a stock body and what the RE-A GT kit, Kazama and Feast kit\'s offer. As well as some others. My other FD has the Panspeed wide arched kit (pics attached below), it is from this I decided I want an even wider kit for my two toned FD - this also has a Re-A flared kit on which, despite being wide. Is not wide enough. I\'ll post some pics on soon. Ideally, I\'d like a wide arched white FD with LOTS of carbon bits.......one day!

No under body shots Ross. Also when we saw the car at the Auto Salon, they did not have the bonnet open on any of the days.

Rextreme; the engine bay of the Feast car is outstanding. It even runs on a 6 speed GRex sequential gearbox, I really like it..

Freddy, what about the \'02 RE Amemiya GT kit?  Front fenders are more rounded but the rears are still pretty square.  Only problem is the rear doesn\'t quite blend with the bumper.

Personally I really like the AD-GT and the FEED fenders.  I like the rounded look to exagerate the standard lines.  I\'ve seen your Pan Speed FD around Notts before, it\'s a georgous car, especially in the flesh.

Rextreme, what are those wheels on the blue (top) FD?

Thanks mate, looks like Babz is cruising around town in the Pan Speed, need to go Notts and pick it up! ;)

I like the RE-A kit you posted but again, far too square at the front fenders and rear looks mis matched. Since it\'s launch, other wide arch kits have come in which I think look nicer. Ben and I saw the RE-A Aspara Drinks replica RX7 with this kit on in Japan and it didnt look at all great.

The Feast kit still does it for me! I think it\'s also to do with the meshed side intake; looks great. Below is a pic of the car in question - for which I want the wide arch kit. The current kit is comprised of RE-A wide arched front fenders and rear trims - very subtle and keeps to the lines. Think I will stick it out until the circuit FD is sorted first - these cars are just money pits!  :mmmm

Archbish

gonna be unpopular...

like the smooth look - no stickers (sorry stickers), no wing (sorry everyone), no vents, reflectors, canards, side repeaters, bonnet pins, and body kits with extra folds and flaps.  Just clean, smooth, nice wheels, and tinted windows to continue the look...
Everyone wants to be like ArchBish,
