On the main menu under "Old school Rotaries" it says "not for technical questions" or something to that effect. Why is this? It doesn\'t seem to be enforced so can it be removed???

To me it makes sense to keep all the old school posts in the one place. I mean, an old school tech question in the main tech section would soon get burried by FD owners asking why their cars are running like cr@p :eek

Keep it all in one place is my suggestion to anyone who cares!  :rollin What do others think? :)

Mullins, MikeLMR was going to speak to Clive about the Old School section, I dont know what happened. We were hoping to encourage all Old School Mazdas on the site , even boingers.

All the sections have the no tech posts bit (it is enforced to some extent ... usually its down to when it is noticed :o by us mods)

I was going to have a word with Clive at santa pod but totally forgot. Its on my to-do-list to add to my to-do-list :D

It is the members club though, if you want somthing ask for it, Clive, Glenn etc. are the people to speak to, or stick up a post in the members section and make yourself heard ... a bit like this thread infact :D

LOL!!! Yes, even the FD\'s are 13 now, eh?  !!!!!

MikeLMR

Most consider pre 1st gen to be oldschool. I\'m not sure thats fair on the the SA owners though !

OlD SCHOOL is folks like me......grey beard silverbacks....who drive around and play with cars which are older than 70 % of the members.. :cool ....its the cars which look taller than they are wide, not wider than they are long,N\\A,no turbos,no gas, locked diffs,etc...packet of stash in the glove box, make love not war stickers on the bumpers.... :rollin ..only pulling your legs :eek ..but if you dont agree....phone me...3825968...off to have a puff..

mullins

I used to consider pre RX-7 old school but maybe the first gens need including these days :xconfused

Judging from the other thread about boingers, I think we\'re all agreed they are welcome in old school section whether rotary or not.  :yes

MikeLMR

its been changed ... (thanks Glenn)

now you need to spread the word and get us some more members ;) LoL

mullins

Still says not for tech posts :xconfused

MikeLMR

that bits not changed, does oldschool really need its own tech post section ?

oldone

Maybe if old school had its own wed feel more at home.......2mm apex v 3mm apex......hello MIke

mullins

naa dont want our own tech section, just to have the "no tech" removed from the description because lets face it an old school tech question would be burried in the main tech thread in no time.

ska

I agree with as much as old school posts get buried in about 5 minutes in the main tech area!!
