A few years ago i visited the facility that build the rolling chassis for the Noble car. This facility is situated in RSA,Port Elizabeth and its called Hi Tech Manufacturing owned and run by a chap named Jimmy Price. Here i witnessed the Noble coming to life bar the motor.Apparently the motor was brought over from America to the UK,it was then destoked to 2.5 litre, water injection etc fitted and fitted to the car at the Noble factory n the UK.Strange as it may seem.....if the rolling chassis sans wheels was shipped to the UK then there was some arrangement in taxes etc....................I was thinking......imagine this concept with a wicked ROTARY up its ass...its mid engined..brill suspension, brakes, creature comforts..............and weighs half(almost) of a RX7....maybe an email to my mate Jimmy to fish if a rolling chassis is a possibility............. :evillaugh
