Interesting.....

Is it a big job to fit these? Do you need to cut metal or blend them in with filler?

and fess up, who here is already bidding on them?

Grizzly

There suposed to be fixed with Clips but before now i\'ve bonded them on. There not hard to fit, remove the ft and rear wing moldings and they clip at the top (into the molding holes and under the sill.

:yes  Glad to see you\'ve finally gotten hold of some skirts/trim mate :D

Did anyone on here bid on the RE:A skirts that were on ebay.com?  I stopped bidding at £100 (about $180)  Exclusivity can go too far some times!

Grizzly

Don\'t suprise me, I bought a sill section and it ran me £70 so you got a deal on that if you know somone that needs one.

Grizzly: how did you bond yours on fella? Im fitting TII Sideskirts (There sat in my garage waiting) to my EGi! Already got my TII Bumpers and bonnet on  :cool  :bandit

If you take your ft wing & rear 1/4 moldings off and have a look to see if there\'s square holes under them. If there is you can use the std Clips from the T2 to fix it at the top and you can use get some clips from Mazda for Pence for the bottom of the sill (you may need to drill the holes for them) Thats the best way of doing it.

That Fails you can Sycoflex (spelling) the top in place and clip the bottom edge. but if you struggle getting the clips you can Sycoflex the top and the Bottom (just make sure the two surfaces are clean and dry).

But Try the first option before you start sticking stuff. ;)

Nice one, I was thinking the sikoflex option myself, actually got two tubs of that hardcore window screen bond sicoflex in the garage - that sh*t is pure evil!

All mt trim is off and there is no holes for the top parts so i think it is a case off sikoflex and drilling some holes (should keep me busy for tomorrow)

Grizzly

If you use that option just make sure its in the right place (it don\'t like coming off)

I did a Chav mobile a while ago and has loads of bits of wood and barrles of TFR holding it in place while it went off.
