Oil Pressure

can anyone just help with a question with regards to the oil pressure.just wondering on the standard Fd oil pressure gauge what is the normal levels on it when u are idling and say running 0.9 bar on the turbos.
on idle i am getting 0-2
on full boost i get 5-6
is this ok.

yeah thats ok, but you will probably get alot of people saying that the stock gauges are a bit useless

though the levels are what I gt from my stock ones... IO hvae fitted a/market ones and the read about 20psi on idle and raise to about 80 psi under WOT

Mine has always read 6 to 8 on WOT, 4 normal cruising and as low as 2 when idling, yet recently the gauge has been giving funny readings, today after playing with a new carrera the gauge was registering as low as 0.5 at idle, scary. Does the pressure alter with the temperature and thus viscosity of the oil ?  
Best get an aftermarket gauge methinks, stock gauge keeps giving me the willies, even with enough oil in the engine.

just had my fd a couple of days now and it runs fine. When driving it today on idle it was nearley 0. Bit scarey as when i accelerated the oil pressure shot up too.

My boyfriends skyline does this to but never drops as low.

Is this exaggerated by the stock gauges?

the stock gge has a habit of gunking up and giving false readings..as a rule of thumb approx 2bar on idle/4-5 bar on cruise and mine is about 7-8 on wot using defi gges

Does a fresh rebuild register lower at idle? I have the stock guage.

MIne is 2 at idel ..... 5ish at cruise and 7/8 on WOT according to the Standard guage
