Im trying to get my fixed pos buckets into my TII but m not having much luck...

the runners on either side closest to the centre console are angled :(
Anyone any ideas how to get around this so I can have a flat level surface for the sidemount?

any help muchos appreciated!

thank you

Brett

I cant give much advice I\'m afraid, although rails for the FC were on Ebay.com last week.
 I can sympathise though, Rx7 seats/rails are a bitch.

*sighs* looks like its time to measure up and go to the machine shop again...theyre not gonna be hapy with me after the fiasco they made of the rear toe steer eliminator thingys.... *sighs*
In was just thinking whats the legality of just welding four correctly threaded 5mm brackets to the floor and attaching the seats directly to them neglecting the sidemounts completely?
Anyone?

cant you adapt the standard rails?  can you post pics, im struggling to see what you mean mate.

It depends on what type of seat you are using. I have a set of Carbon FD Recaro\'s that i have just swaped the seat runners from the FD to FC, with the seats not being too wide they whern\'t too hard to fit.

My advice would be get a seat that is as thin as poss.

Jit

the seats are very narrow...im really thin and the seats are a snug fit to me...my girlfriends a size 12 and she complains day and night lol

I can see where you are coming from, the drivers one is a bit*h, i managed with some Sparco side mount brackets and then mounted to original rails, passenger seat should be simple as they are not angled.
