Tips for a very soon to be RX-7 (3rd Gen) driver

Definatly dont floor it. Apply the throttle gently untill you know what its doing. Even a bit of semi throttle in 2nd a couple of nights ago was enough to get the back sideways taking a very shallow line.

Be careful in the wet, mine wheelspins in 3rd in a straight line

Here\'s a tip for a new owner. Be ready for seriously bad fuel consuption, now i\'d read all the stuff on here and thought i was well prepared for 15mpg but i wasnt! 15mpg is so much worse than i had imagined, £10 a day on petrol isn\'t much fun! However I do own an RX7 and when i say those words nothing else matters!!

I have heard about one in hitchin, I did buy my one from hitchin but I don\'t think my one is the one you are thinking of. Before i bought mine and it was sitting in the garage waiting to be picked up someone told me there was one driving round hitchin, i thought \'bastards, those geezas at the garage are driving my car around\' but we sort of worked out there must be another one around as my one is practically touching the ground and the one that was seen was standard ride hight. Where In hitchin does it sit?

Yeah i\'m well up for meetin up sometime infact soon would be good i have a couple of questions about maintaining it that only another RX owner would be able to answer!!? Baldock services is in the middle i guess.....

So tell me more about this 10 of the best, i havent even heard about it?

As for garages, RSX in letchworth recon they know a bit but i\'m not sure, they are like an import specialist. Apart from that its either Reading or Norwich as far as i know. Do u know any closer than that?

Hmm may have seen you coming out near Homebase few weeks back as I was driving up the slip, I noticed yours (assuming it was black) but you probably just heard mine as I was zooming past some Pug who was in my face

Ten of the best  is up in York (easy ride down the A1) basically all the UK car clubs bring out thier fastest cars to play (not just jap cars)... 1/4 miles / timed racing etc, its a competetion ....there\'s a few of FDUK (the other rx7 owners club) going down, should be a great day, sky sports are filming it afaik, tis this Sunday, more than welcome to join us... think it\'s £20 on the door

Someone was saying there\'s a great place in Luton, i\'ll get details. Would be cool if there is a place is Letchworth that can handle an Rx7
