As there are a few threads around about engine rebuilds at the mo, I thought it fitting to post my experience of Hayward Rotary.

I collected my car today and was very pleased with the work done and service provided.  I had a rebuild with a street port.  As I was a bit tight for time, Carl and his team put extra effort in to get it ready for me in just over 2 weeks which I greatly appreciated.

I find Carl and his guys very friendly, professional and most importantly, HONEST.

This is the second car Carl has rebuilt for me and I would have no reservations in using Hayward Rotary again (hopefully not soon though).

So it\'s all good from me, anyone needing a rebuild would get great service from Carl and his team.  Thanks for a good job guys.

Mark.

A true gent, I have to agree.

I\'ve just got off the phone from the RAC, who will be picking up my dead car and taking it to Newbury to see Carl tomorrow morning...  so it\'s nice to see this thread  :)

I hope mine can get back on the road in a reasonably short time too...  I\'d only owned it two weeks when it died, after two years of me not being able to drive, so I\'m missing it really badly!

Ditto.  I\'m booked in for my first service and check over following my rebuild at 10am - maybe I\'ll see you there?!  Theres a small oil leak that needs attention and a fan problem Carl\'s gonna look into.  Can\'t wait till the engines run in properly.

Why\'s your car dead?  What happend?   :(

Denny

I\'m not travelling up there with the car, I can\'t get the time off work.  The RAC better take good care of it while I\'m not there!

Having read your post, that\'s a bugger!  I too have spent over £12K on my REX and sometimes wish I\'d put the money elsewhere.  But then you get in the driving seat with miles of smiles laying ahead of you and you realise its all worth it.
