Was just wondering what kind of power standard injectors can run?

had my car dyno\'d and pfc fitted, and Pip only ran 0.75bar due to injectors being too small, so i am lookin at upgrading them

also some advice on what injectors to upgrade to :)

Id say primaries as 850\'s and secondaries as 1600\'s incase you want even more power later on, rather than getting 1300\'s as secondaries and then having to change them again.

Will have to modify the fuel rail for the 1600\'s though.

Can also keep all as it is and add 2 more 850\'s making the secondaries 1700\'s :D

Nearly forgot, find out what fuel pump you have too as no point getting large injectors only to find you cant feed them :(

I dont think you need to go with 850\'s as primaries. Keep the stock 550\'s and swap the 850\'s for 1600\'s.

But dont forget that you should be running an uprated pump (Bosch 044) with an FPR.

I have just got a set of 1600cc injectors that fit in the stock FD fuel rail,  I can get them for £300 new.  Saves a whole lot of messing about changing the rail as they fit straight in.  Then you just need a better fuel pump.     With 550cc prims and 1600 secs, you should see around 440 flhp without problem but dont hold me to that,  one of the tuner with a r/road is the best person to ask.
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

I dont think you need to go Bosch 044, this is an inline pump so wont be a straight swap out. Go for the Bosch 040, which is very nice uprated INTANK pump which will easily will provide fuel up to 500rwhp, dont go for the walboro 255 pump heard they are quite noisey and you need to make sure you get proper electrical load on those to work effeciently.

I went with the custom fuel rail/1600 secondary injector route with the uprated FPR and Bosch 040 pump

Had mine mapped by Pip on monday. I\'m running a T88 with 850cc primaries, 850cc secondaries and the two additional injectors i had were also 850cc.  However the Apexi didn\'t like my additional injectors as they were low impedance, so Pip swapped them straight out for TII injectors (not sure on the cc\'s of them), and mapped it straight up to 0.95 bar making 381.8 RWBHP and thats without any porting!!!

So it depends which way you want to go Babz, you could get bigger secondaries or keep them as is and just get some 850cc additional injectors which can be plumbed straight into the Apexi, then get Pip to wind the boost up for some serious power!!
