found a great site for sracp yeard and replacement parts yesterday

filled in the application form...2 mins... and hit the susmit button...

20 mins later my hpone was ringing off the hook with yards and breakers and importers trying to seel me their gear boxes... I got about 7 numbers... varying prices for g/boxes from 400-700 quid plus vat...and delivery ( 25- 45 quid any where UK) was quite amazed how many there were out there.

anyway, thought I would let you guys and gals know if you need anyhting might be worth trying it if you need owt!!!

taking my fd to pip on saturday morning for a checkup... hence the gear box search.....

And yet less than 2 mins you could have seen I have 4 manual boxes, next day delivery. If parts not listed, can send email and will have a look. And at the lower prices quoted by the scrppers.

what prices then, and are they reconditioned or straight out of the car....

I ahve a problem with my gear bearings I think.... sop not sure what is gonna be needed... hopefully just a few replacement bearing and away we go.. but knowing my luck it will be  a new box... hmmmmm

will find out on saturday.
