I woder if refinishing alloys in another color (from back to white ot silver) requires any special process that a normal body/paintshop cant do ? (this side of powdercoating)

In my experiance there is no special process required, all that would be needed is a good key up befor the respray process. If you intend to take them back to the metal, then again it souldn\'t be a problem because most cars have alloy panels on them and it would be the same process used on your wheels.

Powder coating would be best , but there is no reason why you cant paint them and use a good coat of laquer on top.

Only problem you may have is that some aftermarket brake pads may eat into the painted ones, but you won\'t have the chance of this problem with powder coat

Hope this helps
