Been in Max\'s car, personally for an everyday day the noise and clunking and jumping at low speeds would do me in, but just for occassional or track use, you\'d get used to it, I know Max does not notice it now. He is using Kazz.
Range of them here.

I know a bit, and I\'ll have one in the S14 if it ever goes in.  5th week of waiting just about to start so I might get it back soon!

Anything in particualr you need to know?

Max\'s is not a 2-way G11ARY, just the 1.5 - same as Phil\'s - and George now too.

But in principal its going to be very similar, just with more lock on deceleration with a 2way over the 1.5.

Kaaz ones are known for being loud though.

Yep, decelerative lock too; 2 ways scare me!

Have you much experience of driving 2 ways Lee? what are your opinions on them?

isn\'t that one step down from a locked diff ? if so it must be pretty harsh for driving on the street. I\'d guess you would have to be pretty keen on drifting to put up with it on the road ?

rx jamie

not so good for road use then. i just want a diff that a good compromise for strip, track and road.

Ive been in cars as passenger with 2 way lots.  And also welded.  I havnt driven either.

I should have my 200SX back hopefully this week with Nismo GT-Pro 2 Way, Apexi N1 coilovers, subframe bushes, strut brace and bits and bobs so it should be totally different, and possibly evil.

Might not have it back though, this is the 5th week have had nightmare with diff output shafts not fitting.

Ill be able to give better opinion once ive driven it.  First thing I do when I get back will be wait for the night and give it a try.  Well as long as its dry I dont want to try it first time in the wet.

From what I understand its better as its progressive compared to something like a viscous diff and it gets rid of a lot of snappyness coming back.  It does mean that you cant just lift off and try to save it though as itll lock, so you need to have a more controlled input.  I will soon see.

Im certainly not expecting to have any problems driving it on the road.  Just need to be careful downshifting but if you can rev match its not a problem.
