Hi, Can someone confirm that FD(96) calipers (front)..... fit on the FC 91?
Fit on the standard FC Hub, and disc etc without modding?

 Rgds

Thanks dude.....

I did have a read of that thread previously and also before posting this one!

There was a bit of malarky in there with the grinding/cutting of hubs and disc etc to make some bits fit....
I don\'t want that hassel also messing with a vital component like brakes.... :eek
Whoever recommended that to be done should be :spank

 Won\'t go into that.........

Anyway, all I want to CONFIRM from someone that ACTUALLY done this is, not heard a m8 say this or that........................

"does the standard FD(96) front calipers fit straight onto a standard FC(91) set up!"

 Caliper for caliper............ nothing else!

 Thanks again,

I am still in the process of trying to see if the disks etc are interchangable, but as you seem so concerned with maching a few mm of the hub i would just stick to the FC brake set up, cause unless you want to get a little machining done, it wont fit.

i thought FC FD calipers are the same, i mean mounting points etc or am i just confused:confused:

It gets interesting then! :(

I just want to replace like for like as I just rebuilt a set for an FC with a proper kit from Mazda, but don\'t trust em as a couple of the pistons were well stuck and only normally means one thing!
Calipers took to much heat and possibly distorted a bit.
Should of took some measurements when rebuilding but were actually planning to replace them so was a temp!

Well I will be getting a set anyway to see for myself!
