I got one in my Rex, and to be honest, was completely disheartened with the result on the rolling road day last sat see here

Only made 296.3BHP at 7100 rpm

But hopefully armed with a wad of cash and a visit to Pip at WGT will have some pretty amaziing results shortly.

Yea i was really looking forward to your car running Scott,

It should be making an easy 400hp + so there might be a boosting issue or something, but to get the best results out of the T88 you do need to run high boost sort of 1.2bar plus ????

I mean when i ran my car last year @ 0.6bar it still made 342bhp @ the hubs so not sure why you got a low figure ??

Sorry for hi-jack Jamie :(

thats right it could be a number of minor things, who knows, i mean i have never thought that mine has been up to the right power it should be, just taken the manifold off and seen there is 3 huge splits in it! gotta be my problem, so in the process of ordering a uprated s/s race one form the states now,, what ya guys think???  http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7959015014&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEBI%3AIT

If they throw in the groovy carpet, I\'d take it :)

As long as it\'s no worse than the Greddy manifold: -

Hmm tempting.  I was just about to say don\'t bother with ssautochrome\'s stuff as it\'s crap, but after giving the link a read it seems they may have it sorted.  Then again it might still be junk.

If it was me I\'d look out for a decent make second hand one from a Japanese seller on ebay if price is an issue.

Hi Iwan,

what I meant by "As long as it\'s no worse than the Greddy manifold", was that if Greddy make their own to suit the T88 then you don\'t want to buy another manifold that isn\'t at least as good.  I don\'t know of any issues with it, what\'s this about how they flow...?

That Manifold will not fit your Greddy T88 Turbo. The manifold is made for a T4 turbo, and the wastegate flange is made for a diffrent wastegate.

U should get nice results with the original manifold. The problem u had is tuning.

Pip will get more out of it on his new Dynapack Dyno. I will estimate between 450-500hp at 15 psi. Well it will depend on the fuel u are running but. 450 hp is not out of the question at 15 psi.

well the manifold came and i am well impressed!!! it fits the turbo perfectly but now im having down pipe issues!!! lol its too short!!! not to worry easily sorted,, how much would a session be roughly on tis dynapack?? any one know

88GT-R

Depends on what ecu you are running. Choose your mapper carefully...

hopefully i will have the apexi power fc with controller

What do Greddy/HKS manifolds cost in england?

88GT-R

Virtually unatainable. Quoted £700 for a cast iron manifold for an fd from the HKS main dealer. Better looking for 2nd hand. Is your car LHD? If so best place to look is the states. If it is a RHD, i would recommend Australia.

Ok, i was just interested in what they cost because i do Stainless Steel manifolds to RX7:s myself

"Virtually unatainable" , i dont understand, is there any easy way to explaine for me that isnt so good at english
