Is that just a radiator and no intercooler ?

Looks hardcore !!!!!

BenLewisMav

No intercooler and just methanol right?

No intercooler and H2o injection:wiggle

Bobfish

Looks like an armoured car! lol.

Just the 1 oil cooler?

chrisJDM

looks like something mad max would drive :Viking

DRAGON

yeah just one oil cooler. Ive tried a lot of differnt things with this car. And untill we finish the testing I cant comment for sure whetehr they\'ll work.
The changes to the drag car were lots of over the years, So im sure this one will change loads before we reach a final point.

WI pre turbo nicce, get rid of intercooler save weight, and the WI tank will last as it only needs to do a few laps for time attack

With that wi nozzle placed there its gonna chip that compressor ! needs to be moved and calculated

I\'ve heard people suggest that, but I\'ve never seen the eivdence to support it - altho u can usually find evidence for most things if u want to. I know some serious hp guys swear by pre-compressor injection tho.

Do you have any data/info you can point us at Scott? I\'m sure theres stuff on rx7club or ausrotary about it.

at 100,000 rpm Im sure a water droplet is going to do damage to a blade.  It will also potentially cause an imbalance in the rotation.

Also it is going to hamper the air flow through the intercooler.

Not trying to teach you how to suck eggs but;

I\'m still trying to decide where to put my nozzles and found it an interesting read.

Sure Rich.

The problem is the atomisation of the droplet. If you spray it from where Ross is the droplets clump together. the larger sized droplet causes the impellor to chip and errode.

You need very fine atmoisation and the ratio needs to be finely worked out.

I have done this in tha past with great success. To name one, high compression rotors running high boost.

p.s its not going to unballance anything if done correctly and is not going to do anything to his intercooler becasue he dont have one.

With the meth he will gain loads by having extra ignition advance etc

Jon if you actually had a clue what you were talking about I would be prepared to have a discussion with you. But as you just regurgitate what out dated or biased information youve heard I have no interest in responding to you.
