Hi guys,

I have a water temp gauge and boost gauge which are mechanically fitted but not yet wired into a 12v supply.

They are fitted into a gauge pod on the drivers pillar.

So my really quick question is where do i take a 12 volt supply from. I have plenty of wiring blocks to sort this but i just need to know the best place to go.

Cheers

Cigarette lighter for one, or just find a 12v ingnition live with a multimeter.

How do i get at the cigerette lighter power then? Do i have to remove part of the dash or just run the wires to the engine bay?

Sorry if this sounds a bit thick but i have never really done this type of work before and just need to find the wires to splice into. Im not too bad with electric from there?

If you take the dash binical out then you should be able to get to it withuot having to remove the steering wheel or unplug any of the speedo plugs. If you remove the panel underneath you may even bee able to get to the cable itself, but not completely sure. Last time i did mine i took the dash out. Shouldn\'t take too long to do.
