Evening all,

Just wondered what were peoples opinions on re-amemiya\'s carbon hood (quality/fit, etc) and a reliable uk supplier,  some good comments around but nothing conclusive. Has anyone had one fitted, and have a nice big picture?

Also has anyone found a uk supplier for Border\'s headlight vents? They\'re inexpensive over there but cutting costs on the import duty is always preferable, and do people have them ducted to the filter, or just vent the air into the engine bay and leave it as-is?

I shall keep searching in the meantime.

Many thanks for the advice,

Fish

I had a fibre glass version of RE-A\'s hood and it fitted like a glove.

The main difference between buying an original over a copy is that 9 times out of 10 they fit without needing a little tweak here of there. Copies tend to have bigger gaps, but I am not saying that all copies are bad.

Not sure about a reliable UK supplier for RE-A\'s bits, but I am taking a wild guess that you will receive PM\'s from those companies that just want to make money and not support the rotary scene. ;)

Cheers both,  although in the case of the headlamp vents i was a bit set on the Border version as i like the lines, importing it is not too harsh anyway I guess.  The hood\'s another matter.

As a side note Gerry, I checked your profile for a closer look at your car, aaaaand, you have the same birthday as me, except youre one year older. Happy birthday next fortnight, etc...

Thats about as interesting as todays got :)

Cheers!
