RX7 Series 3 discs - UK vs Import ?

Mazda UK are trying to charge a lot more for discs and pads for a Japanese import them for a UK car.

Is there really any difference ?
Is there any reason why I couldn\'t fit UK spec products on my import ?

Dont know the answer to the above question, but why mazda uk? you can get these parts elsewhere for less than mazda uk.

Try one of the tuners and try one of the guys in the adverts above....you might get a nice surprise with the price..

No. None at all. Some disc sizes may be diff but not caliper.

Tried and really struggled. All very expensive and long lead times.

Hi Mike, as Gary says there is no difference between UK and import .

If you shop around you will find various Disc manufactures like Mintex Brembo etc offering standard replacement Disc\'s for less money than Mazda prices if you don\'t wish to go for dear aftermarket ones.

I would look to replacing your brake pads with non Mazda parts though as this significantly improves the braking ability on these cars even with stock disc\'s
