no dash lights?

just had car out for a spin around the block and the dash lights kept going off and coming back on.any body had this problem before and if so what was the cure.cars a 2nd gen n/a.:cool

Sounds like a dodgy connection to me.  Remove the dash section and check all the connectors are pushed together properly.  If it still plays up I would suggest buying a 2nd hand dash unit and seeing if that does the same.
