for dual alt belt pulley, short shift kit and some other bits.

Battleparts.com (Germany) also can get FC parts at decent prices, but I\'m not sure if they still exist. Their new website is in construction for over half a year now.

In the UK there are also several other ones like SRBPower and Whifbitz.

In North America there\'s more than you can count. These three are interesting
1. CP Racing in Canada for strut braces and such http://www.cpracing.ca/

2. Rotary Xecret who have good prices on electronics
http://www.rxecret7.com/

3. Turbocalculator not only has interesting software, but also great prices on turbo gear
//www.turbocalculator.com

Then there\'s Japan ...
Taka Kaira is a classic off course (//www.takakaira.co.jp)
And for great deals on second hand stuff, keep an eye on //www.jappartsspecialist.com

But there\'s so many more out there. Only problem is always going to be import taxes though. Importing stuff into Belgium for example raises the purchase price by between 50 and 100% ... :reallymad

Have just ordered a Dual Friction clutch from centerforce US, it was only £167 inc p&p so if its no good I havent lost any money really.

Anybody know if these clutches are any good? (now I\'ve ordered it!)

Sorry to resurect this old thread - but did you get that clutch and if so what was it like.

Seems to have mixed reviews over on rx7club - sounds good on paper though.

As you can tell, I\'m looking at clutches, but I don\'t want a springless undriveable clutch as I do way more street mileage in my car, but I want to be able to take it on the strip without worrying about babying the clutch all the time.

i ran a excedy organic stock friction plate with a racing beat uprated cover and was good enough for track, strip and drfting with a slightly firmer pedal but really nice engagement (no juddering) and it took 460 flwhp.

I would prefer this set up to cheap ebay ones that i tried first and didnt work, it didnt hold the power and juddered like mad when pulling away, depsite being brand new.  The parts above were 2nd hand
400 BHP - 650 KG\'s = 616 BHP Per Ton of Rotary Power

That\'s the way to do it! :Thumbsup!

Prof

I had the Exedy Organic in last time, and it\'s lasted since Feb 2005, with quite a bit of abuse.

I was just looking at what alternatives are out there, but the more I look, the more the Exedy one comes up.

I believe Clive suggested a Stage 1 cerametallic plate in another thread on MRC somewhere - that\'s Exedy as well, but the plate looks different to the organic one which is just a round disc with springs, the stage 1 is a triangular shape with springs.

I\'ve heard the organometallic clutches are quite harsh - they don\'t like being slipped much, and are a bit on/off in nature.

i had a cerametallic in the coupe - and yesz it was a bit harsh and on/off - nice clutch though - gripped very very very well - with loads of abuse

and it was triangluar shape
