I have a 94 gen 3 with single turbo and external waste gate, with an EVC4 HKS boost controller.
On low boost programed to run 0.75 bar, and on high boost 1.1 bar. The problem is that on low boost the car peaks at 1.65 bar and on high boost peaking at 1.96 bar boost

a tad dangerous i think... i have checked all pipes and setting etc and can find nothing wrong any ideas!!!!

Bearing in mind the highest boosting rx is @ 1.5bar boost you wanna get that sorted soon buddy or no more rx!!!

Try ringing a specialist in your area matey,

ok this is getting silly now i\'ve hit 2bar boost !!!! the turbo wontt stop boosting is this a waste gate problem???

scooby_si

erm as already said if it aint set up for it try using the boost controller known as the right foot if it is about to go over 1 bar STOP PRESSING IT!!
Get to an expert rather than testing how much it will go to, either it\'s already been set up exceptionally well or you\'ve been very lucky not to kill it or it may even be sumin as silly as a dodgy boost gauge ;)
Sorry to sound so abrupt but it wont fuel properly over 1 bar so doing anything over let alone double that will mean leanville & bye bye engine land is visited......
