Just got insured fully comp on my FD for about £1200!  Cant remember the exact figure.  My car is an import too.

Got insurance through couple of days ago from tesco for 1992 stock fd.

im 20 ,4 years no claims ( introductory 1 year from CIS or something!)

I think Insurance companies just make it up as they go along!
I phoned Tesco the other day to get a quote on my renewal

yet people in similar circumstances are paying about £1500
