I\'m going to attempt to fit my c-west style headlights tomorrow.

Has anyone removed the pop up lights before?

If so is it a fairly easy job to do and what do i look out for?

Cheers,

Dan!!

Hi Dan

Try this site for info and pics on the instalation of the cwest kit.
http://www.scuderiaciriani.com/rx7/lights/index.html#CWE

Its a massive site and even with broadband it takes 20 mins due to the hi res pics.

Are you getting rid of your original lights. I am in need of some for a project I have on the go.

Cheers

[list=1]
  • Remove battery earth lead
  • Remove two 10mm bolts at the top
  • Remove heat sink in the engine bay to allow access to the bottom two bolts, also 10mm.
  • Remove the bottom two bolts (10mm as well!).
  • Lift units out removing the power plugs on the way!
  • There is a link to the motor which just needs to be pulled off, this is only a simple ball joint
