Every had your Rex stolen, broken in to?

Just wondered how many of you have had your pride and joy stolen or broken in to?

The area where I live is not too bad, however I can\'t afford a top-notch securit system... so I\'m seriously considering taking the fuses out every time I park her up anywhere. Crazy perahps?!

I have had it vandalised, then i moved out my flat. Been fine since (touch wood).

I have an alarm and tracker now.

The best thing to do is run a switch from the power going to the starter motor and hide it under the dash/seat/somewhere so that without switching it on you cannot start it with the key or hotwiring...

Sounds like a plan    I think I\'ll look into rigging up such a system until I can afford a decent immobiliser and tracker.

I used to remove the EGi fuse from my 2nd gen whilst I was awaiting an alarm.  Lets see the thieving scum start it now!
