removed the turbo pack,
noticed one of the gaskets (outlet manifold to turbo was split)
replaced gasket, put car back together (with no bits missing or left over) and its still blowing by somewhere.
I pressume its one of the gaskets between the engine and outlet manifold. Is this a common problem?

I did notice a couple of very small 2-3mm long cracks of the face of the turbo pack (where it mates with the outlet manifold) none of which goes beyond the face of the gaskets.
just wondering if its a common fault, could it be the cause of my blowing or shall i just ignore them?

Many thanks

Mine had those cracks on the turbo pack, results of heat

The other one that blows from around that area is the lower inlet manifold.

Std gaskets there are made of paper and therefore crap, quite common for these to blow especially after mods

change it for a metal one, although you\'ll have to whip those tubbies off again  :p
