Hi.

Is it possible? Pro\'s, con\'s?

Just general opinions really.

Cheers

Hmmm, why exactly fo you want to use a fd engine in your car? If it is just a horsepower thing then all the fd guys out there are doing the kind of things that in theory could be done to your engine. i.e single turbo. aftermarket uce, bigger intercooler etc...

Freddy

its because I have a fd engine with a T88 turbo and dont know what to do with it :D

thanks for the replies guys

mattmaclennan

Put it in a better car!! LOL !! Why not go for something a little more adventurous like a Morris Minor or a Vauxhall Chevette

Freddy

Thats actually a good idea. I could only wish, it\'d fit in to my Honda Beat. That would have been way cool (and scary!).

travellinbob

so if you have a good set up fd powerplant to go into a fc does this mean that your fc engine is knackered? Why not bolt the T88 up to the fc engine? And keep the fd block as a spare, or sell it to finance more power:D ?

Freddy

Theres another idea. I dont have an FC with a knackered engine, but was hoping one will come up for sale in the next few months.

What kind of worth can be put to a 500 km\'s travelled fd engine with a new T88 set up, twin plated clutch?

MillSpeed

Shit, don\'t sell it! Get yourself a nice FD with a blown engine and drop that badboy in there! Christ imagine the sort of numbers a well tuned T88 would put down, has the engine had any sort of porting done on it?
