Its highly unlikely that made the dog any more clever than your average labbie, though. He was happy, stubborn, and (mostly) daft as a brush. Naming magic clearly has its limits...

Only have 10 minutes qualifying on the Saturday. 😮

Then two races on Easter Sunday at  12.20pm and 16.55pm  in the Super Saloons. Series.

Todays Race report.                                       
Bit of a strange day that became mostly about tyres 🙄. 

The day was bitterly cold with like an Artic wind chill and a track no where near its best meaning it took ages to get any heat into the Michelins I use, to start  going anything like quick and got beaten up on both race starts because of cold tyres,  but as you may have seen, once they had heat,  particularly in the second race I pumped in fastest lap after fastest lap 😀.

Cars running fine but with no real issues, however after the race we found we had an intercooler issue that "probably" lost me 50 BHP+  and that was 50BHP that today could have made all the difference between winning and losing.

Lastly, got to say I was lucky I did not spin when the lights went green on the  second race because as I floored it the cold tyres spun up like I was trying to do a burn out making me lift off the throttle making me loose all momentum into the first corner.

Plusses are a second and a third place win and the car's in one piece and ready to go for the next event and very pleased to come away with the fastest laps in both Races  😁

As it's been a while, I thought I would bring an update for all who follow Christine's race exploits. Repairs are coming along after the crash at Mallory and I am revising the nose cone to Mazda RX-8 R3 Spec which will give the car an update whist also looking completely different.

The Engines getting an upgrade as well.

We are changing the heavy cast iron centre plate for a custom Alloy plate being built in Australia by Pac Performance a hugely respected  name in the Rotary world and will end up not only loosing some weight but also have a much stronger 3 Rotor Engine .

Sadly, going to miss at least three events at Brands, but hoping for a strong finish for the last races of the season.
