My RX-4 that I wanted since I was a kid and why !.

Searching around for a picture of the interior of the now 50 year old RX-4, I realised that I had never put a picture up of the interior of the at the time far advanced dash, that even included a cassette player and a radio.

So far advanced that it has intermittent wipers, dimming dash lights and even an Arial in the screen, that sadly could not be replicated when I needed it replacing.

With a UK car of this era you was lucky to even get a proper heater 

Next time out I must take some better pictures .

Had the RX-4 out yesterday at a local show with Philip's RX-3 where he deservedly won a "piston" trophy

As it does these cars no good to just stand, we gave the RX-4 yet another good run out to the Enfield Pageant yesterday on what appears to be the best day of the weekend.

I thought I would add this story as part of the RX-4's history.

Nice relaxed car show at Herne Bay last Sunday.
As soon we arrived a guy sat in front of the car and started sketching and presented us with this picture.

Now retired, it turned out that he worked in design studios for Hyundai, Nissan and Leyland.

You never know who you may meet at these events 😃
