Visited the Autosport show at the NEC yesterday.  Unfortunately the show is a shadow of its former self and there was very little of interest to make it worth a day out.  Perhaps better on Thursday and Friday when more trade companies are there for the motorsport professionals and competitors.

Did however come across 2 things of interest to rotary enthusiasts.

Firstly the Cosmo 110S being restored by Yorkshire Car Restoration.  They seem to have made good progress on the chassis and are now turning attention to the bodywork.

Secondly the MACG Racing RX-8 that is racing in one of the support series for the British Endurance Championship.

At 2.5 sparsely filled halls and not too many people it certainly makes the November classic car show look absolutely packed.

Lets hope Race Retro at Stoneleigh next month is better.

Thanks for the pictures and the write up Dave.

Last year on the bus going back to the car park, all I could hear was "never again" !!!
All the best Clive
