I've ordered a greddy front mount kit, but after reading abit more online I've heard that because of the fitment blocking the rad, it can restrict cooling. I've already paid my cash and will have it next week. I'm considering hacking out the angle of the intakes and cutting up some other ic piping that I have at home to make it into the v mount position

you say you have a RB in the FD? then it probably isn't as much of an issue.

I'm from Ireland too btw  O0

Who told you they were poor??  Many many of us use fmic. Drifters often seem to have issues on all models of drift cars due to sideways airflow but street and track fd's run great with fmic.

With a good ally radiator sitting behind a fmic both work well together ime

+1 obviously a v mount will improve cooling but not to the point where you will notice it unless your pushing the power limits of the engine up to the point your trying to get every last horse you can out of it. I will however tell you one thing, nothing scares the sh*t out of people more when they see a Rex in their rear view, mouth wide open with a nice big shiny fmic looking back at them!
