Sorry if you have tried this:

Does the rad have a bleedin nut at the top? if so open up that nut then start car up, bubbles should start coming out of there.

Leave running for approx 10 mins, then screw nut back in fill with water/coolant and do the same procedure again just to be sure, if you have tried this and no joy then take to specialist, however avoid driving the rx as with a air pocket in there it will over heat pal.

When filling, only fill via the cap on the engine.

Many times people put too much water in the system and have all sorts of problems.

It could be you just need to burp the system,

Please  look here for Cooling Troubleshooting Problems.

Hope this helps

If what you\'re seeing is continual bubbles coming up through the filler tube then unfortunately you\'re probaby not seeing trapped air but exhaust gasses seeping into the coolant... sign of water seal failure.

One side effect of this is the coolant gets heated up far more than it normally would and exacerbates the problem.

Dude if you\'re really stuck i\'d recommend you dont keep starting the car up, get it to a rx7 specialist before you do more damage mate.

So how much of a big job is the water seals then?

20B_boy

Well you start by stripping the motor down to nothing and go from there :(

Its an engine out job I believe....?

Are you running on the origional engine or have you had a rebuild?

I\'m assuming you havent allowed it to overheat at any point?
