Always great to see an FD being used properly, excellent that your getting full enjoyment from a car that was built with race tracks in mind

Apparently, there were 3 RX-8's there together, red, blue and camo. They've just posted up some pics and a short write--up. The blue one had a argument with a tyrewall, lots of panel damage, but repairable. Looks like his tyres weren't up to track work.

The same 3 posted up a great story about their trip to Spa earlier this year.

Yeah that's the guys I was talking to them in the day and took two of them out for passy rides.

Great you hooked up with them. They've just responded on the RX8OC site too, and said they had "fun" rides in your car 

This was the damage to the blue RX-8......

The comment was;

"Sonic2 (Rick's car, not on the OC) did ok for its small amount of time on track, rubbish cold tyres and much loud pedal resulted in a few offs. One of which being into the tyre wall, ending the day for the car, and it now needs repair. Thankfully, the damage is mostly cosmetic, and we have a spare winning blue car for parts, it'll live to fight another day."

That's a lot of rear quarter panel damage though
