It's up for sale from rotary motion and has just had a rebuild and has a few bolt ons...

Anyone know anything about it or can recommend rm?

Already have a 231 that belongs to the wife. Been borrowing it for a few days and it's a lot more fun that the 5-series that's the family car I have. Also have an fc turbo engined kit car but it's awful on the road and just gets used for track stuff and early sunday blasts.

Cheers,

Mark

I had a 231 that Rotary Motion rebuilt engine 6k ago was sweet. Got no warranty as out on time but was half the cost of the 1 above. Price seems about right from a rebuilder with that nice 2 year warranty....worth a looksee at least ....you gotta run it in? Its a pain if you have too.

Thanks for the reply, sounds positive.

Will be a pain to run it in. Have run the wife's 231 in last summer and the fc motor in the kit car. The gearing on the 231 made it a lot more boring.

I ran my kitcar with rx8 engine in for a 1000 miles on the road...frikin horrible...cramp and frozen. Lol. It defo worth a looksee and has soon nice extras.

That sounds horrible. Kit cars are grim in the cold. I did mine in July and the gearing meant that at least the miles went by quite quickly. The cramp was dealt with by having to fill up more often than on my bike ;)
