Hi,
my name is chris i am 24 and i have just purchased my first Rx7, have been in love with them from a very young age and finally saved the pennies to buy one ... a step into the unknown but truly excited to do so.

The Rx7 i bought is an 1994 FD which is needing work done/restoration, i bought it as a project for 2015 :)

i look forward to getting to know people from the forum and soaking up there Rx7 wisdom because i have very little regarding them. my previous cars have mainly consisted of Mk1 Mx5's.
i will apologize in advance if i post any question with an obvious answer.

i am really looking forward to getting her back onto the road and driving well.
i will try put some photos up certainly..everyone loves a photo O0

information i got from the previous owner was before he stopped using it, the car entered 'limp mode' and because of this he didnt use it anymore and it then sat for 9 months in his barn ( what a waste i know right :eek: )

i tried to upload some photos there but my files are to big , i shall have to work on re-sizing them and trying again

re japi

Welcome

Yes, we really love photos ;)

Hi Chris, easiest way to put photos on here is to use a free Flickr or PhotoBucket account. Flickr and PhotoBucket allow you to drag and drop your photos (any size) onto your free "cloud" storage. Once there, you simply click to copy the "IMG" link on either site and paste the link in here. Once you've done it once or twice you'll see how ridiculously easy it is! Plus if you've not already got a Flickr or PB account, it's a great way to;

1. Backup your photos for free online.
2. Create a folder to document work on your project online.

As an example, here's my Flickr "Album" of photos of my RX-7 1st Gen restoration;

From that point, it was just 5 mouseclicks to post this up;
