Upholding Mazda\'s honour

We had an enormous surprise today attending a show with a classic car world that is normally anti Japanese,

With something like 1000 cars on show plus bikes up against  the likes of a Ferrari club, Jaguar club, a  big American car contingent as well as the likes of the normal Ford, Triumph etc etc clubs, the RX-4 was not only well received but was also initially picked to park up with the top ten of the event as a winner, which was a surprise in itself  but then went on to take the overall runner up of  best of show slot behind an as new (old) Bentley pictured below.

Even when being given the prize I commented how staggered I was with the award because it was Japanese!

Not only great to see the piston brigade enjoy a Rotary but I think its great for all of us who love these cars get some recognition

Congrats Clive. Award is well deserved. I have seens her two times now, and it amazes me how beautiful she is. All the details... Malcolm and I walked around her some thing like 30mins, just looking at all the details... I just love her
