Fuel Tank Breather Connection

I am running new lines for my 20B conversion without the hard pipes. I worked out where the feed and return go but I am a little stuck with what to do with the fuel tank breather?I gather this connects to the charcoal canister and then the little catch tank under the throttle body on a 13B and then goes via a solenoid and one way check valve to the UIM.
What I want to know is what to do with it now. I have no charcoal canister and no way of powering the solenoid, But I d have the 13B catch tank bit the bendy bit of pipe that connects to it and the check valve all in tact.
Can I remove the solenoid and connect this the catch tank to the UIM with the check valve in place then run the breather direct to the catch tank? Do I need the bendy bit of pipe to stay in place as well or can I just run a  pipe straight to it?
Other options?

I my new setup I\'m just running into the charcoal filter next to the tank and then venting to atmosphere from the filter. Junked the rest of the system.

Not fully run yet, but I was advised to go this way by a well known tuner.

I think that is what I will be doing on further advice too.. Would be nice to vent inside the engine and keep fumes down but hey!
