Quote from: Dragun;874564what are the effects of narrowing exhaust ports for improved flow on a rotary?. Also anyway to modify the exhaust collars ( that protect the irons from excess heat) to improve performance?

I have no idea how it works on rotary. But basics are the same.

I have thought effect of removing that collars too. But I think that in street car it would effect too much to exhaust back pressure. Turbo, maybe not so much
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

OK, this is a bit of topic but:

What is extended port? I have heard of them but I´m not sure what does it mean.
Does some one have pictures?

Extend port is basically an extended street port, as big of a street port can be without going too a bridge port
