Just a Quick one will any clutch type fd diff fit a fc t2 pumpkin and stub shafts?

The FD diff internals will fit into the FC casing, just swap the internals over, FD diffs are good for track days but not drifting (the FD internals usually explode lol)

Im guessing that if an FD diff fits in an FD then it should fit fine in an FC casing.

Yeah I\'ve experienced an fd diff which I had in my FC casing etc but that failed I just wondered if all fd type diffs would fit an FC as there\'s a few 2 way and 1.5 way fd diffs for sale but no FC diffs.

But logically if the stock fd diff fits do should an aftermarket model I spose.

When you do the FD swap into the FC, the crown wheel and half shafts from the FC are retained and fit up to the Torsen unit - the diff gearing itself.

Provided these other units for the FD only require that part to be changed, then they should in theory fit on an FC - but I do say *should* - there are no guarantees with these things :(

I have seen some KAAZ dif\'s for FC\'s but they are stupidly expensive !

shifty biscuits

they do fit but be careful to get it installed and adjusted right. i bought mine after the prev. owner swapped the diff internals for an fd slipper, it chewed itself to bits and i had to swap it for an old fc open unit. Im really suprised it didnt lock up at speed and cause an accident, i should have swapped it sooner as i was wearing ear plugs by the time i got round to changing it, it was deafening.
moral of the story, MAKE SURE YOU SET IT UP CORRECTLY OR IT COULD KILL YOU!!
