neat Concept but i cant see how it would balance.
Wouldnt it just shake itself to death as it also shifts backwards and forwards ?

Interesting.
I dont know about balance either. I would imagine that it will shake alot
But compression. Doctor Wankel did made his early prototypes round, but he noticed that 8 shape and e-shaft made better compression and more torque...
Power is nothing without control. Weight is enemy of performance, handling and braking.

you would have constant oil polution of the mixture (emissions) as the oiled part of the shaft enters the combustion room

Cool concept, but without any cooling it will melt!
