Hi everyone! I\'m converting a Mazda RX-4 1974 to an electric car and I have some problem with the transmission. I would like to know if some of you guys knows which other transmission from Mazda can fit on this car. Does a pickup B2000 transmission can fit??

If your going electric you shouldn\'t need a gearbox.

Apparently putting details of your car spec in your signature means the nice folks on exile-rotorsport think you\'re a fool.  I can think of no higher compliment!

It depends on the electric motor you have and the top speed you want. I would only use the 1 and 2nd gear on the transmission but it will help for durability and start/stop current consumption.

Thank you!
